The Land Development Agency (LDA) is a commercial, State-sponsored body established in 2018 to coordinate land within State control for more optimal uses, primarily focusing on the provision of housing. This document serves as a comprehensive guide to the LDA's ethos, commitment to community development, and the engagement process for stakeholders and the public.
Strategic Themes: The LDA adopts five strategic themes to expedite housing delivery, build collaboration, expand land capacity, strengthen organizational frameworks, and support innovation in the housing system.

Objectives of the Engagement Strategy The LDA has three objectives guiding its Community & Stakeholder Engagement Strategy:

- Communicating effectively with the public, listening to community stakeholders' views and suggestions during planning and design.
- Engaging the public in a project-specific manner, tailored to the requirements and conditions of each project.
How the LDA Engages
The LDA employs a variety of engagement techniques to ensure inclusivity and transparency in its communication with the public, such as online surveys, social media updates, seminars, webinars, written submissions, and more.
Data Protection and Ethics
The Agency ensures compliance with data protection regulations and maintains a Data Protection Policy. Employees follow the Employee Code of Business Conduct, upholding ethical behavior in public engagement activities.
