The Fingal County Council Mobility Hub provides a range of sustainable and accessible transport options in one location on Main Street, Blanchardstown. The hub aims to reduce car dependency, promote active travel, and support the transition to a low-carbon economy.
Challenge

To address the over-reliance on private cars in Fingal and to provide more sustainable and inclusive transport choices for residents, workers and visitors.

Solution

 To create a mobility hub that integrates different modes of transport, such as walking, cycling, public transport, car sharing and electric vehicles, in a convenient and attractive way. The hub also provides age-friendly and disabled parking spaces, bike racks, electric vehicle charging points, and information on transport options and services.
