The overall scheme aims to upgrade the cycle and pedestrian facilities along the scheme route to improve overall safety particularly for vulnerable road users. The main scheme route extends from west of the Spawell Roundabout and runs along Wellington Lane, Wellington Road and Whitehall Road.
